Out with the Subie… in with the … Hyundai? – Massdriven …
It really is amazing (IMO) some of the stuff Hyundai did with the car . The Tranny for example, was designed completely in house, and used only 75% of the parts and weighs 37 pounds LESS than the old 5 speed auto.

I mostly had to feel my way around the parts . Again; the more I work on my car , the less intimidating it becomes. I have a lot of respect for folks that work on cars and create things with their hands
